There will be a blood drive this month in the Jacoby Auditorium Lobby on Wednesday Feb. 22 and Thursday Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Those interested in donating blood will need a valid ID and should contact Marjan Coester for an appointment at 541-440-7749 or marjan.coester@umpqua.edu

Shadow Effects is a multi-media exhibit by UCC art instructor Renee Couture that is showing at Douglas County Museum of Natural and Cultural History until March 31.  The museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

UCC Auto Shop is auctioning a 2000 Pontiac Grand AM SE.  The starting bid is $1200. The auction will run Feb. 1 through Feb. 15 at noon. Sealed bids should be turned in to the cashier at the administration building. Please include your name, phone number and bid in the envelope.

The application deadline for Foundation Scholarships for the 2012-13 academic year is March 2.  Students can apply for all Foundation Scholarships by completing and submitting one application on the Foundation Webpage: www.umpqua.edu/ucc-foundation
